MORE SWINE FLU CASES IN GIB
Gibraltar Health Authority yesterday confirmed that there are currently 12 confirmed cases of Swine Flu (H1N1 virus) on the Rock. Three other cases are pending laboratory tests. The local health service has already screened several hundred persons. It is expected that the figure of confirmed cases will continue to grow although the message from the authorities continues to be that in the vast majority of cases with no underlying medical problems, this type of influenza is milder than its seasonal form.
