As the 2010 Gibtelecom Chess Festival opens next week, Brian Callaghan, organiser of the festival met up with two of the most famous world chess players in Marrakech last week: former world champion Russian Garry Kasparov and Norwegian Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen presently ranked number one in the world. The two champions were briefed on the development of chess in Gibraltar.

The picture also includes representatives of the local tournament sponsors Tim Bristow, Gibtelecom, James Humphreys, Tradewise, and Pepe Canilla.
