NEW CURRENCY NOTES AND £1 COIN
The Government recently announced the striking of a new £5 circulating coin, which will be issued during the next couple of weeks celebrating Her Majesty the Queen having agreed to Her being described on it, for the first time as “Queen of Gibraltar”.
It is the first time that She has agreed to be described in coinage as “Queen of” the issuing country.
The Government shall shortly be announcing the issue of a new series of £5, £10, £20, £50 and £100 circulating currency notes.
