GARBAGE PARADE

A resident at Cornwall’s Parade has drawn attention to the daily eyesore and health hazard made even worse during weekends, posed by the dumping of household refuse at the bottom of Castle Steps at the height of summer. He said that the rubbish attracts seagulls and the wind disperses the litter in what is otherwise a nice area. Despite notices prohibiting the dumping of rubbish and the installation of four surveillance cameras in the area, the problem continues unabated.
