The European Commission has launched an application to enable passengers to check their rights while stranded at an airport or awaiting missing luggage in relation to air and rail transport; the app will also be extended to bus/coach and waterborne transport in 2013.

The application is free and available on four popular mobile platforms: iPhone, iPad, Google Android, Blackberry, Microsoft Windows Phone 7 and can be downloaded from http://ec.europa.eu/transport/passenger-rights/en/mobile.html
