LA PRism top honours awards for World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition

The World Pancreatic Cancer Day campaign which was celebrated by local charity Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Gibraltar Charity has received top honours at the LA PRism Awards.

Louis Baldachino, Founder of the Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Gibraltar Charity and committee member of the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition announced the campaign was successful at the awards ceremony.

The LA PRism Award is a Los Angeles awards program that recognizes excellence in strategic PR campaigns and voted on by industry peers for outstanding work. Two top honours were won.

The campaign won in the two categories entered being for Global Communications, and Event and Observances.

Jenny Isaacson, Vice President of Pancreatic Cancer Action Network thanked everyone for their support of the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition.

November is World Pancreatic Cancer Awareness with this year’s World Pancreatic Cancer Day on November 21.

Throughout November various events will be held by the Gibraltar charity including ‘lighting in purple’ of the Moorish Castle, awareness presentations and lectures by professional speakers from UK.
