Local Guider is first ‘Girlguiding Trainer’ for Gib and overseas branches

Girlguide Leader Kathleen Murphy has become Gibraltar’s first Girlguide Trainer for Girlguiding Gibraltar and all overseas branches (outside of the UK). She was presented with her badge and qualification certificate this week by the President of Girlguiding Gibraltar, Governor’s wife, Lorraine Davis at the annual general meeting at the Khaima at the Rock Hotel.

This qualification means Miss Murphy will be able to train volunteers at all levels within Girlguiding with the responsibility of upholding the policies of the organisation at all times and present them accurately with the current information.
