The Miss Gibraltar 2018 pageant saw three contestants vie for the crown, with Star Farrugia awarded the title this weekend at the one hour-long event.
The audience cheered as Miss Farrugia walked the runway for the first time as the reigning Miss Gibraltar.
Just moments after she was crowned, Miss Farrugia told the Chronicle she was “surprised” she had won the title.

“The other two contestants are so beautiful, I honestly did not expect this,” she said.
“I am glad that I entered despite the online comments. I have had a great experience and I recommend anyone to enter Miss Gibraltar.”
