300km around the Rock for charity

A small group of supporters joined Alfred Medina yesterday as he took the first few steps of his month-long 300km round-the-Rock charity challenge.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Gibraltar Ivanhoe Charity, Mr Medina will be walking 10km a day around the Rock for 30 days straight.

Mayor of Gibraltar Adolfo Canepa wished Mr Medina the best of luck in his challenge and congratulated him on the anniversary of the Ivanhoe Charity

The charity walk began yesterday and will conclude on June 15th, and is in support of the Cancer Relief Gibraltar.

“Anybody is welcome to join us if they want to, the [cancer relief] centre is going to help us too,” Mr Medina said.
