Aerial drama on northbound migration across the Strait of Gibraltar

A Short Toed Eagle is pictured over Gibraltar this weekend as a Yellow Legged Gull swoops down from above.

The eagle had just crossed the Strait of Gibraltar on its northbound migration from Africa to Europe for the summer.

The image was captured by local photographer David Parody, who also shot gulls attacking a Griffon Vulture.
