The Governor Lt Gen Edward Davis and his wife Lorraine Davis attended the event, as did the Minister for Housing Samantha Sacramento, and Opposition MPs Daniel Feetham and Roy Clinton.

Lt Gen Davis addressed all the guests, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a “Healthy and Happy” 2019.

Ms Sacramento also shared a few words and was delighted to see the tenants were pleased with their new accommodation

The tenants dined on ‘Sopa de Picadillo’, roast turkey, ham and pork and all the trimmings, and Christmas pudding with custard.

The music was provided by the Chipolina Brothers who played some nostalgic music for the tenants, as well as, very lively tunes which set the residents and guests in a merry mood to enjoy the evening and dancing.

As usual there was a raffle with some gifts donated by different organisations.

The residents would like to thank all the members of the Committee for their very successful organisation, the three Wardens Joey, Rafael and Killain for their hard work supervising and seeing all work was well done and Emma and Enka for making the place “gleam with brightness”.
