Dolphins Youth explore gender stereotypes

Young people from Dolphins Youth Club spent a weekend at the Europa Retreat Centre as part of their commitment to informal education.

The theme for the weekend was gender stereotypes and the programme focused on challenging individual and cultural prejudices.

Young people had the opportunity to participate in a range of activities including cooking, a quiz, a walk up the Rock, team building games and a story board.

ChildLine Gibraltar also participated on Saturday.

“Overall it was a fun and thought provoking weekend leading to a greater understanding of the word "gender",” said a representative for the service.
