GHITA hold hearing awareness assembly

GHITA Chairperson, Edgar Triay, raised awareness of hearing impairment at an assembly in St Joseph’s Lower Primary School.
The children learnt about the different causes of hearing loss and even learnt the alphabet in sign language.
Mr Triay showed the children a model ear and the key parts of it.
The talk also focused upon the importance of not listening to music or movies very loud as this can damage their hearing.
