Gib easyJet flight diverted to Portugal

Passengers bound for Gibraltar on Thursday morning’s easyJet flight from Gatwick landed in Faro, Portugal when the plane diverted after being unable to land on the Rock due to poor visibility.
The airline said the decision to divert the flight to Portugal instead of Malaga was the “the Captain’s decision taken in line with operating procedures.”
The flight later landed on the Rock after 6pm on Thursday and departed for Gatwick an hour later.
