Gibraltar men's senior basketball team make it to semi finals

A second win for Gibraltar in the FIBA European Championships for Small Countries today has seen then go into the Semi-Finals which will be played on Saturday.

Gibraltar plays in Group A of the FIBA European Championship for Small Countries men's division being held in San Marino.

After a heavy defeat against favorites Norway on Wednesday evening in which Gibraltar lost 95-60, the men's senior team came back with a 74-68 victory against San Marino, their closest rivals to reach the semi-finals. Having also beaten Moldova Gibraltar finished second in group A and will now face Malta in the semi finals.
