Govt seeks public feedback on Line Wall Road closure

The Minister for Transport and Traffic, Vijay Daryanani, has invited comments and public feedback on the recently announced Line Wall Road closure.

The invitation is open to residents and businesses who ordinarily require access to the areas of Line Wall Road, Cornwall’s Lane, Engineers Lane, City Mill Lane and Governor’s Street.

A pilot scheme with regards to the road closure will become operational from June, 1.

Residents who wish to meet the minister to discuss the matter, are invited to send an email to mbtt@gibraltar.gov.gi by Thursday May 14 at 4pm.

“The Government is now actively carrying out the consultation process as the Chief Minister announced it would do,” said Mr Daryanani.

“This in an exciting project for Gibraltar and I look forward to public involvement as this will give residents and businesses in the area an opportunity to express their views on this excellent project.”
