Kusuma Trust invites applications for professional development award

The Kusuma Trust has opened applications for its Kusuma Trust Professional Development Award to help professionals further their careers.

The Award helps to support individuals who work in Gibraltar to undertake professional development courses in cases where there is no funding available from the Government or the employer, a statement from the Trust said.

Applicants must work in areas that directly benefit those living and working in Gibraltar.

Applications will be accepted from groups of employees but it may be subject to requests for further information.

The candidates must meet a certain criteria to qualify for the Professional Development Award, the statement read.

The applicant must be working in Gibraltar for a minimum of three years immediately before the start of their selected course; the candidate must be employed in a role that directly impacts and benefits those who live and work in Gibraltar; and they must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their occupation.

The deadline for the applications is Friday September 21.
