New career for WO1 Hatchard

After 23 years of service as a soldier, Warrant Officer 1 Chris Hatchard was selected for a late entry commission in the Royal Engineers.
To mark the end of his career as a soldier and the start of his career as an officer, WO(1) Hatchard was “escorted” from the Warrant Officers and Senior Rates’ Mess and welcomed into the Gibraltar Officers’ Mess.
Soon he will leave Gibraltar for Nepal for his first appointment as an officer in the Royal Engineers
