Pro-life Movement to launch ‘No Shame, No Blame’ campaign

The Gibraltar Pro-Life Movement will shortly launch a ‘No Shame, No Blame’ campaign to encourage men and women to offer their stories and seek help with dealing with all issues surrounding abortions in complete anonymity.

In a statement the group said its campaign is not about ‘oppressing women’, but instead protecting the life of the innocent child whilst supporting the mother.

“However, we as a society must accept a harsh truth - that a life is present, and thus it has the inalienable right to life.”

The group said there should be no discussion, nor even referendum, on the topic of legalising abortion.

“It is, in our view, a morally bankrupt position to hold.”

“Accidents happen, it is an unfortunate position to be in, however despite this fact we must recognise the ultimate right to life the child is entitled to,” the group said.

“Accepting this means that the very discussion of this topic is simply impossible.”
