The Environmental Agency set up an information stall in the Piazza yesterday to mark World Environmental Health Day.
This year’s theme, selected by the International Federation of Environmental Health, was Indoor & outdoor air quality.
The choice of theme was deemed very relevant by the federation as on March 6 this year Margaret Chan, Director General WHO launched a worldwide campaign to tackle air pollution as the ‘major public health issue of our generation’.
