PSOE slams Margallo’s ‘partisan approach’ to Gibraltar

Salvador de la Encina, the PSOE senator for Cádiz province, has complained to Spain’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs for excluding him from this week’s inter-ministerial meeting on Gibraltar and Brexit.

The Madrid meeting brought together representatives from a range of Spanish ministries – foreign affairs, interior, defence and transport – as well as from the Mancomunidad de Municipios.

There were also representatives from Spain’s National Intelligence Centre [CNI] present.

But Sr de la Encina said neither he nor any of the PSOE mayors in the Campo had been invited, even though the PP’s Jose Ignacio Landaluce had been present in his capacity as senator.
