Redline wins airport contract
A contract for the provision of security Quality Assurance at Gibraltar’s International Airport has been awarded to Redline Assured Security.
Awarded by the Government of Gibraltar, the contract will see Redline Assured Security providing additional Quality Assurance to the Airport over an initial 12-month period.
“We are delighted to be working with Gibraltar International Airport and our expert team will be deploying to undertake a range of tests and assessments to identify any potential areas for improvement and convey advice on how to better protect both people and assets,” said
James Termini, Commercial Director at Redline.
“We are earning an international reputation for aviation and airport security, working with over 40 airports or airport authorities and nearly 50 airlines around the world and we will bring all of this expertise and experience to our work in Gibraltar,” he added.
Redline will work closely with the Director of Civil Aviation Chris Purkiss and the Government of Gibraltar, it will also assist in the development of the current aviation security processes and standards at Gibraltar International Airport.
The airport has seen consistent growth and commercial development. For the first time in its history, the airport recorded over 500,000 passengers in a year, reaching a total 548,230 passengers in 2016.
