TG unveils primary candidate list

Together Gibraltar yesterday unveiled a list of 14 members who had put their names forward to stand in the party’s primary elections, from which it will draw a list of 10 candidates for the forthcoming general election.

Working on the basis that Parliament will not be enlarged ahead of the next election, Together Gibraltar is asking members to choose 10 names from the list of 14 candidates.

The candidates include Jackie Anderson; Christiana Ballester; Nicholas Calamaro; Joseph Capurro; Daniel Ghio; Marlene Hassan Nahon; Sian Jones; Kamlesh Khubchand; John Montegriffo; Erika Pozo; Craig Sacarello; Neil Samtani; Tamsin Suarez; and Edward J Wood.

“This is a truly representative and diverse group of people who are conviction driven and ready to serve Gibraltar into the future,” party leader Ms Hassan Nahon said.

“I’m very excited about what the future holds.”

Party members are also being asked to select a leader for the slate of 10 candidates.

The voting closes at 9pm on August 21 and members can vote by email or in person at the party’s headquarters on Main Street.
