Keystone sparks history mystery

The Heritage Department is appealing for information on a keystone dated 1799 that was removed from the Buena Vista Homes site to museum storage yesterday.

Joseph Gingell and Tommy Finlayson from the History Society and Wake up Gibraltar recently alerted the Heritage Department to the fact the stone was lying forgotten about for many years.

The department acting on the information spoke to Paul Jarvis from Buena Vista Homes, who in turn spoke to Robvia Ltd about potentially moving the stone.
