Barbary partridge population set for another boost
The Gibraltar Government will release more Barbary Partridges later this year as part of its ongoing re-population programme.
The initial programme started in 2014 with the importation of 270 Barbary Partridges.
The next year a further 37 birds were released, followed by 44 more in 2016.
Last year there were an additional 45 birds released in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve.
