GAMPA play wins Drama Festival

This years Gibraltar Drama Festival over all winner and best play was an original play by Christian Santos called ‘Insert Label Here’. It was an ensemble piece presented by GAMPA. It also received the award for Best Stage Presentation. The play was the second play staged at the Gala Night at the Inces Hall on Saturday night.

Best Director was awarded to Daniel Strain Webber for play ‘Constellations’ presented by the seniors of the Trafalgar Theatre Group which was the first play chosen for the gala performance by this years adjudicator Paul Mills.

Best Original Play went to Julian Felice for ‘In Jesus Name’ presented by the Bayside and Westside Drama Group.

Best Actress was won by Samantha Barrass in  her role as ‘Marianne’ in the play ‘Constellations’ presented by the Trafalgar Theatre Group.

Best Actor went to Billy Snell for his role as ‘Joseph K’ in the play ‘The Trial’ presented by Bayside and Westside Drama Group.
