GIB’s new branch opens for business

A second branch of the Gibraltar International Bank was officially opened yesterday by Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and Minister for Financial Services Albert Isola.

The new branch, which is situated on Main Street opposite the Cathedral, was opened less than a year after the first branch began trading and will largely serve the business community.

Mr Picardo said: “It’s the second branch we are opening in less than a year, specifically designed to serve the business community it’s at the heart of our business district to be able to provide that additional facility which the bank knows is required and which we are very happy to be able to see them provide.”
