The University Educators for Sustainable Development (UE4SD) has brought together 55 partners in 33 countries during its three year duration.
The main aim of the project is to change University education so that it can prepare students, regardless of course or specialization, to understand and apply global responsibility.
Professor Daniella Tilbury, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gibraltar, is the International Director for this initiative that attracted 600,000 Euros of funding from the European Commission.
The final project conference took place at the University over Monday and Tuesday with Dr John Cortes, in his capacity as Acting Chief Minister, opening the event.
