Hammond’s new ‘symphonic’ album in German chart

Albert Hammond is No. 1 in the official classical chart in Germany with his latest album ‘In Symphony’. The album has also entered the German Top 40 pop chart at number 30 this week.

This latest album featuring 11 of his top hits was released just over a week ago in Germany and throughout Europe and will be released in the UK in March next year.

“Germany is one of the countries that embraced me from the very start of my career,” he says.

His music has always sold well in Germany and he has just completed a ‘symphonic concert tour’ of Germany performing with the Leipzig Symphonic Orchestra. The tour ended in Berlin on Sunday night with a live stream of the concert on Arte, Berlin Live Albert Hammond in Symphony.

It was always a dream he says to sing and perform with a symphony orchestra.
