Protest will follow unlawful incursion

The Spanish corvette Infanta Elena is pictured above off Europa Point during an incursion yesterday morning. The vessel was shadowed by the Royal navy’s Gibraltar Squadron and ordered out of British waters. The UK Government will file a diplomatic protest, as it does with all such unlawful incursions into British Gibraltar territorial waters.
