RGP and Environmental Agency target ‘irresponsible dog owners’

Officers from the RGP and the Environmental Agency were patrolling together to tackle dog related issues this week.
The joint patrols focused on checking that dogs were chipped, licensed and had all of their vaccinations.
A spokesman for the RGP said: “it’s an ongoing initiative to help identify irresponsible dog owners who fail to clear up their dog’s mess or wash away their pee.”
“We’ll continue to do these patrols on estates both day and night as this is an issue that affects a lot of people in the community.”
