Shane Dalmedo launches newest exhibition at Nook Gallery

Local artist Shane Dalmedo is exhibiting her newest works at the Nook Gallery, in Casemates Square.

Keeping to her traditional style Ms Dalmedo has sculpted some figures, and kept it fresh by creating some 3D digital works.

“I paint mainly in acrylics and construct 3D scenarios,” said Ms Dalmedo.

“At the Nook I am presenting some digital works. I find that in a way it is very different working on a computer,
although it is just as absorbing as creating works on canvas, paper or 3D.”

“My digital works normally start as pencil drawings on paper, then scanned and finished on the computer using paint effects like washes etc.”

The Nook Gallery is situated inside the Arts and Crafts Shop and the exhibition is open for viewing until January 17.
