Another gold for Gibraltar in Dance World Cup
Nathan Villalba won Gibraltar’s second gold medal at the Dance World Cup in Barcelona this week with a piece called ‘Working Hands’.
He was placed first out of 17 entries.
Additionally, two bronze medals were also won by the Gibraltar National Team.
Lauren Montero was placed third out of 15 entries in the Adult Jazz solo, whilst Janis Jackson was placed third out of the 34 entries in the Junior Jazz solo.
Earlier this week Anna Jimenez and Nathan Villalba took bronze in the children’s duet section, while Lauren Montero, Janis Jackson and Chelsie Victor won bronze in the Adult Jazz and Show Dance trio section.
The first gold was won in the children’s formation category.
All pieces were choreographed by Lilian and Lauren Montero.
The competition continues for adult dancers until Saturday.
