Athletes headed to Portugal

Gibraltar athletes headed to Portugal for some competitive practice this past weekend. A large part of the Gibraltar team that will be competing in next week’s Island Games took part in races against clubs attending an athletics meet in Algarve Regional Championships. There were some podium finishes for local athletes who had a chance to put themselves to the test.
In the back scenes officials and volunteers will today meet for a briefing prior to the Games.
