Empty room restored into a children’s play area at Calpe House

For many receiving medical treatment in London, Calpe House is a ‘home away from home’, and now children have their place in this home.

Calpe House caters for people of all ages receiving medical treatment for various types of ailments.

The building situated at Norfolk Square is a stone’s throw from St Mary’s Hospital and offers over 64 beds.

The Board of Directors and staff at Calpe House extended a “huge thank you” to Jasmine Schembri for the marvellous pro bono work she has undertaken in transforming an unused room at Norfolk Square into a wonderful children’s play room, complete with reading area, white board and crafts table.

Ms Schembri has transformed the lounge, making it feel like a real ‘home from home’ with new rugs, lamps, cushions and finishing touches.
