GADS final Memory Walks this week

The Gibraltar Alzheimer’s and Dementia Society have organised Memory Walks to take place every Wednesday this month.

September is World Alzheimer’s Month and through the course of the month the walks have taken place from Commonwealth Park to Little Bay and back.

The final Memory Walk takes place this Wednesday, September 25 at 6.30pm from Commonwealth Park.

The second Memory Walk earlier this month was joined by residents from Mount Alvernia.

“Our most sincere thanks to Amanda Parson-Yeo, George Yeo, and Janet Mamo (ERS) for going above and beyond, their hard work and dedication is deeply appreciated,” said GADS in a statement.

“We were honoured that his Excellency the Governor Ed Davis joined us again this year and very grateful to friends and family including MP’s Marlene Hassan Nahon, Lawrence Llamas and Roy Clinton.”

The walks start with a gentle stroll round the park, they are family friendly and for all ages and abilities.
