Galloway launches ‘unplugged’ exhibition

Adam Galloway launched his ‘Unplugged’ art exhibition at John Mackintosh Hall on Tuesday evening.

Mr Galloway is exhibiting landscape pieces of places he has visited and Gibraltar over the next week.

He told the Chronicle about his favourite piece within the exhibition but admitted “you get attached to all of them.”

“I am very fond of the women walking into the forest. A lot of people have done pictures like this,” he said.

“The first one like it was done at the turn of the 19th century when a Napoleonic fusilier walked into the forest in the Russian campaign.”

“This one is of my wife when we were in Finland, and it was raining and she was just walking off.”

He also noted the variety of painting depicting Gibraltar scenes including Commonwealth Park, Parson Lodge and Laguna.

The exhibition is open at the John Mackintosh Hall Lower Exhibition Room until August 8.
