Gibraltar Youth Choir to perform at Disneyland Paris

The Gibraltar Youth Choir will be travelling to Disneyland Paris this week to participate in workshops and perform at the Cinemagique Theatre on Saturday. On Monday night they presented the songs they will perform to an invited audience at the John Mackintosh Hall.

Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts Director Christian Santos said the main aim of this trip was for the choir to take part in the Disney performing arts programme. The workshops on vocal and Musical Theatre will give the youngsters the chance to work with the Disney Creative Team.

The Gibraltar Youth Choir will also perform inside one of the theatres in the Park.

Mr Santos believes this will be a great experience for them.

“This is a non-competitive event which we are using to give the choir more performance experience internationally,” he said.
