Govt dismisses lottery rumours

The Gibraltar Government yesterday dismissed rumours about problems with this year’s Christmas Lottery held on Tuesday night.
The draw saw the top prize of £1 million go to the ticket number 46235.
Yesterday some lottery buyers claimed there were not enough balls in the lottery machine.
But spokesman for the Government of Gibraltar told the Chronicle: “We can confirm that the draw was done properly and in accordance with normal procedures and there was no issue at all.”
