John Shepherd Memorial Cup 2019 this weekend

As part of our on going Social Responsibility Programme, the GFA Technical Department are supporting the Annual John Shepard Memorial Veterans football match this coming Sunday, July 21.

The match will KO at 10-30am at the Victoria Stadium and two teams of Over 35s will compete in a friendly 11- a-side game. Refreshments will be served afterwards for players and officials and Leslie Asquez, the GFA Grassroots Manager will address all those in attendance on behalf of the Gibraltar football family.

Desi Curry-Technical Director added: "As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, the Technical and Grassroots department are always happy to support charitable events. Any monies raised on the day will also be enhanced by a further donation from the GFA. I do hope that as many people as possible will come along and support this very worthwhile event’’
