Prizes awarded in Spring Festival Logo Competition

The winners of the Spring Festival Logo Competition, selected from a total of 964 entries, were presented with their prizes at the Mario Finlayson National Art Gallery in City Hall.

Gibraltar Cultural Services CEO Seamus Byrne presented the prizes and launched the Gibraltar Spring Festival Programme, which covers the period May 1 to June 18, 2022.

The winner of the Spring Festival Logo Competition, Kathleen Murphy, was awarded her prize of £500 at the launch, alongside participants who were awarded Highly Commended Certificates.

Ms Murphy’s logo will be displayed in all print and marketing material produced under the umbrella of the 2022 Spring Festival.

The judging panel decided to grant nine Highly Commended awards this year, as follows: Gabriella Alvarez (Bishop Fitzgerald School), Shannon Bautista-Kolenic (Adult Entry), Hugo Caravantes (Westside School), Maria Carmona Jimenez (St Bernard’s Upper Primary School), Christian Chang-Chipolina (Bayside Comprehensive School), Faye Chichon (St Joseph’s Upper Primary School), Ava Dyer (St Bernard’s Upper Primary School), Darion Figueredo (Adult Entry) and Victor Huart Guerra (Bayside Comprehensive School).
