Royal patronage for fourth edition of Gibunco Gibraltar International Literary Festival

The 4th edition of the Gibunco Gibraltar International Literary Festival will run from 20 to 23 October this year. This year the festival is honoured that HRH the Princess Royal has agreed to be the Patron of the festival and the Gibraltar Tourist Board (GTB) is already in discussions with headline speakers with an announcement to be made in the coming weeks.
The success of the previous three years has been very encouraging said a Government statement with the Gibraltar Tourist Board looking forward to an equally exciting festival in 2016.
Samantha Sacramento, Minister for Tourism, said the literary festival was an example of the events led tourism strategy “which has demonstrated our capacity to organise quality international events which have placed Gibraltar on the map”.
Ms Sacramento said the Gibraltar Tourist Board wants to build up on the success of the previous editions and deliver another prestigious festival packed with leading authors and celebrities.
“We look forward to another great edition.”
