Shooters get Gibraltar its first medals

Gibraltar’s shooters brought smiles to Team Gibraltar on Sunday with the first medals in the Gibraltar2019 Island Games.
As news filtered out that Borge and Holmes had struck silver it was all smiles. ‘At least we know we can end the first day with a medal’ commented on official.
Just as they did Rose and Patron added the second silver
Gibraltar women came close to another medal finishing fourth in the ISSF 25m Sport Pistol team event and the
ISSF 25m Standard Pistol.
The men also just missed on another medal with fourth place finish in the
NPA Service Pistol B
