Staff at William Hill help charities both sides of the border
Staff at William Hill raised a total of £4200 - including £2560 at a recent quiz night – and split it between three charities in Gibraltar and La Linea.
The Gibraltar MS society, Hogar Betania and Animal in Need received £1,388 each.
The quiz itself was a sell-out, with over 120 people attending.
“Even the buffet ran out,” said Gemma Reid, who was a key driver behind the event along with Sara Chacon Fossey.
“It was an absolute success.”
Miss Gibraltar, Hannah Bado, presented the prizes and William Hill presented her a £50 beauty voucher.
“We look forward to another year of fundraising and supporting each charity individually tailoring our support to match their strategy,” Ms Reid added.
