TNP's 124th beach clean uncovers anchor, bicycle, and microplastics

The Nautilus Project recently held its 124th Great Gibraltar Beach Clean as its summer youth monitors tackled a hotspot at the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority revetment area, in the process removing an anchor and a bicycle.
The debris was collected by Metalrok Ltd in a bid to salvage as much as possible, avoiding landfill.
TNP said that there were also “huge amounts of microplastics.”
