Drugs and imitation firearms seized in police raid
Police arrested a 26-year old local man on suspicion of drug and firearms offences.
Officers searched a Main Street flat yesterday and seized 600 grams of cannabis resin, drug paraphernalia and two BB guns resembling authentic assault rifles.
The street value of the drugs seized is of approximately £3000, according to the Royal Gibraltar Police.
The rifles, commonly known as Airsoft guns, are prohibited in Gibraltar under the Firearms Act.
The man was arrested on possession and possession with intent to supply approximately the drugs and possession of firearms.
He is currently on police bail pending further inquiries.
