A man has been arrested at Gatwick Airport on suspicion of terror offences.
The 51-year-old was held by anti-terror officers on Wednesday evening on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts.
Scotland Yard said the arrest is not linked to a "UK-based threat or threat to the airport".
The suspect is being held in a Sussex police station and the Metropolitan Police said inquiries are ongoing.
