First qualifers for Island Games

The GCA hosted their first Island Games qualifier this past Saturday with the assistance of many volunteers and what was described as an overwhelming response from riders also to make it happen.
The qualifiers saw riders tested in the Castillo de Castellar climb.

This weekend some of Gibraltar’s riders will also be participating in the IV GIRO CIUDAD DE LA LINEA where there are opportunities for riders across a multitude of categories from the under 23s to the masters, and even for younger riders under the Cadete categories.
The event takes place on Sunday from the Poligono Deportivo and is a great opportunity for local cycling enthusiasts to watch some of Gibraltar’s top talents competing.
