Gibraltar set for GMF 2016

Close to 100 acts will perform across two days and eight stages this weekend during the fifth annual Gibraltar Music Festival.

GMF 2016 has added four brand new stages to the two-day event, boasting: comedy, dance, dub club, poetry and acoustic music.

American R&B star Ne-Yo will headline today’s event and Welsh rock band Stereophonics is set to wow the crowds with a headline performance tomorrow.

Organisers expect this to be the biggest GMF yet and thousands are expected to attend the event to see performances from a flurry of top international acts as well as a number of local favourites.

The cashless payment system introduced last year is back and festival-goers can collect their wristband upon entry to the event and loaded it up with cash which they could use to buy food, drink and merchandise at the bars and stalls. Refunds will be available online on balances over £5.
