Gibraltar Team runs for first time at its new home

The Gibraltar Athletics Team today inaugurated their new home at Lathbury Sports Complex with the first ever run.
Sports Minister Steven Linares official opened the venue for use running with the athletes a 400m run.
Speaking before the run Avellino Baldachino coach of the team said- ‘the track is beautiful, it’s taken too long but it’s beautiful’
After the run, Mr Linares commented: ‘It felt good, it brought back memories of when I used to do the 400. It really felt good.’
The site is now ready for this Sunday’s athletics events in the Island Games.
